Cookies Policy
What cookies and similar technologies this site uses, and why.
Last updated: July 2026
This policy explains how Compayne Capital Ltd ("Compayne Capital", "we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on https://www.compayne.com, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make sites work, work more efficiently, and to provide information to the site owner. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, serve comparable purposes and are covered by this policy too.
What this site currently uses
We keep this list deliberately short — we only use what the site actually needs to function:
- Cookie preference (strictly necessary). When you choose "Accept" or "Decline" on our cookie banner, we save that choice in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again on every visit. This doesn't track you or leave your browser, and it isn't used for analytics or marketing.
- Google Fonts. Our typefaces are loaded from Google's font service. This means your browser connects directly to Google to retrieve them. Google does not typically set cookies for this, but the request itself shares technical data such as your IP address with Google.
- Google Maps (Contact page only). Our Contact page embeds a Google Map showing our office. Google may set its own cookies when the map loads or if you interact with it, in line with Google's cookie policy.
We do not currently use any analytics, advertising or social-media tracking cookies. If we introduce any in future — for example to understand how visitors use the site — we will update this policy first and only set them with your consent via the cookie banner.
Your choices
You can accept or decline non-essential cookies using the banner shown when you first visit the site. Because this site currently sets no non-essential cookies of its own, declining simply means we won't ask again unnecessarily; it does not change how the site works. You can also control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings — see your browser's help pages for instructions, as the exact steps vary by browser and device. Blocking all cookies may affect how some embedded content, such as the map on our Contact page, displays.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the tools and services used on this site change. We will post any changes on this page and, where the change is material, refresh the cookie banner so you can make a fresh choice.
